The plate itself is stunning, high end porcelain with crisp geometric relief. Took about four days longer to arrive due to courier delays, but the item itself was packed safely and undamaged.
I run a small private yoga studio and have four of these hung side by side along the main focal wall. Students often ask where I got them. The tactile relief feels very grounding to look at during savasana.
Glaze is completely smooth and even, no bubbling or rough patches on the edges. The mandala radiates outwards with great precision. Truly impressive quality for this price point.
I had been using a cheap wooden tray by the front door, but the wood faded and looked tired. Swapped it for this mandala medallion plate and the difference is night and day. It does not slide around, the geometric pattern is raised and tactile, and it makes my foyer look properly styled.
Ordered the version with the wooden base. The tray sits tilted upright on the stand like a gallery plate on my bookshelf. Everyone who visits notices the fine textured rings.
The pattern is gorgeous, very fine raised lines. If you use it for ash or fine dust, a dry cloth might catch slightly on the ridges, so I just use a soft makeup brush to dust it off in ten seconds. Works like a charm.
Because of the porcelain thickness and cork backing, this tray does not slide around when I drop my heavy metal house keys onto it every evening. Beautiful boho aesthetic without feeling fragile.
I hung this in our powder room above the towel rack. Guests thought I found an antique Moorish ceramic tile while traveling. The relief is deep enough that ceiling downlights create sharp, beautiful shadows across the medallion.
The circular mandala pattern is raised with intricate dot and petal textures. I placed it in my meditation corner on top of a low wood shelf to hold my mala beads and palo santo stick. It brings an instant sense of sacred calm to the space.
