The sticks are thin, but they burn evenly. I like the tray, although sometimes a stick leans to one side and a little ash lands on the table. I'm thinking of trying a lidded incense box to help catch it.
I like to light one right after finishing my morning coffee and sit for meditation. These sticks are longer than what I used to buy and burn for close to an hour, so the experience is much better, even if they cost a little more.
The wood notes are calming and warm, like sitting on a porch near the woods after summer rain. It burns down quietly and keeps the house smelling fresh.
The glaze on the tray is lovely, and the ceramic feels solid. In our big living room, I can barely smell it with just one stick burning. It works much better in a smaller bedroom and makes the room feel calm.

The ceramic holder is really well made, though I wish there were more colors to choose from. In a big living room with a fan running, the scent fades quickly. I liked it much better when I moved it to my study.
