Look for the main aroma, its sweetness, and the supporting notes. Words such as “premium” or “luxurious” do not tell you whether the fragrance matches your taste.
Read beyond the name. Orange Jasmine Sandalwood emphasizes blossoms and greenery over sandalwood; “orange” does not promise a juicy citrus scent. Similarly, “dry wood” describes a scent impression, not the stick's moisture content. Scent notes describe the intended experience, not a complete ingredient list.

How should you compare incense after it arrives?
Try one scent at a time in separate sessions. Use the same room and similar conditions. Keep the first burn brief and follow the product's instructions.
Notice the fragrance from your normal sitting position, not directly over the burning tip. Compare woodiness, floral character, sweetness, and how strongly you notice it. Record which scent you would use again before ordering a refill.
